Your focus will be primarily on special education assessment, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure students receive the services they need to succeed.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active and valid School Psychologist credential or state licensure
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or closely related field
- Previous experience within a school setting, ideally at the elementary level
- Strong background in administering and interpreting special education assessments
- Ability to work effectively across diverse populations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills
- Dedication to fostering collaborative partnerships with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct special education assessments and interpret results as part of the eligibility process
- Collaborate with special education teams, general education teachers, and administrative staff to identify and address student needs
- Provide written reports and participate in IEP meetings, offering guidance for appropriate interventions
- Help design and support data-driven strategies for individualized educational planning
- Serve as a resource for staff and families on matters related to student social, behavioral, and emotional well-being
