- Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
- Proficiency in conducting psycho-educational evaluations and writing reports
- Effective communicator with students, parents, and educators
- Compassionate, collaborative, and culturally responsive
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and support strategies
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and 504 Plans
- Offer crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Participate in eligibility, review, and planning meetings
- Contribute to positive school climates by promoting mental health awareness
