Our Department of Student Services is seeking dedicated, in-person school psychologists for the upcoming school year. As part of a collaborative educational team, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact from August 10th, 2026 through June 17th, 2027.
In this dynamic, contract-based position, you'll work full-time alongside a supportive staff, contributing to the growth and success of students in a vibrant learning environment.
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Current Maryland School Psychology License required
- Strong background in school-based psychological services and student assessments
- Experience developing and implementing intervention strategies
- Effective communication skills to engage with students, families, and educators
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Dedication to ethical practices and maintaining confidentiality
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students
- Develop tailored intervention plans and monitor student progress
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administration to promote student success
- Support the implementation of programs fostering healthy school climates
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide expertise
- Offer crisis counseling and preventive mental health support as needed
