Qualifications & Experience:
- Active NCDPI School Psychologist licensure (must be attached with application)
- Prior experience in a PreK-12 school setting preferred
- Proficiency with ECATS is required
- Background in consultation, counseling, and crisis response
- Strong communication skills for engaging with parents, staff, and district teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation and counseling support across various campuses
- Assist in addressing students’ mental health needs and crisis intervention
- Hold conferences with parents to discuss student progress and concerns
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for students suspected of having disabilities
- Deliver training and professional development to school personnel
- Collaborate on multi-disciplinary district-level teams
- Engage with teachers, staff, and families to build comprehensive support plans
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by your supervisor
Role Essentials:
- Full-time, onsite commitment (37.5 hours/week), no remote options
- PreK-12 caseload; involvement at multiple district locations (mileage not reimbursed)
- One available position; interviews conducted virtually through Microsoft Teams
