Qualifications
- Current, active NCDPI Psychologist License (attach documentation when applying)
- Prior experience using ECATS
- Background working in school settings (PreK-12 preferred)
- Strong skills in consultation, counseling, and crisis response
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff
- Prepared to be onsite; position does not offer remote or mileage reimbursement
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for students suspected of having disabilities
- Provide counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
- Hold conferences with parents and collaborate with teachers for student support
- Deliver training to staff; participate on multi-disciplinary district teams
- Address mental health needs across the student population
- Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor
