Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Current and valid license as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments, developing interventions, and supporting IEP teams
- Strong understanding of special education processes and documentation
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to promoting equity, inclusivity, and student well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational assessments and interpret data for eligibility and program planning
- Work closely with teachers and staff on behavioral and academic interventions
- Participate actively in individualized education plan (IEP) meetings
- Provide crisis intervention as needed and counsel students individually or in small groups
- Support a positive, proactive approach to mental health for students
- Consult with parents/guardians, offering guidance and strategies as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state standards
