School Psychologist – Elementary and Middle School | Maternity Leave Coverage | Fall 2026
Location: Morton, IL
Assignment Dates: October - November
Schedule: Full-Time
Student Population: Covering two buildings
Elementary and Middle School Caseload: 1 K-5 building + 1 7-8 building
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure as required
- Previous experience working with school-aged children or within educational settings
- Familiarity with conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing interventions
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
- Ability to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
- Genuine passion for student advocacy and social-emotional development
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized psychological assessments and make recommendations for supports or services
- Participate in IEP meetings and help develop student-centered accommodations or intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to monitor student progress and adapt plans as necessary
- Provide short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and support for students as needs arise
- Contribute to a positive climate by promoting mental wellness and fostering resilience for all learners

Compensation for this position ranges from $39.92 to $69.92. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
