Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Previous experience in K-12 settings, especially with high school and middle school populations
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs and 504 plans
- Skilled in working with diverse student needs, including those in alternative programs
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfortable working independently in a hybrid or remote environment
Responsibilities:
- Assess students for learning, emotional, and behavioral challenges using standardized tools and observations
- Develop individualized interventions and behavior plans
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to support student success
- Conduct consultations with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate on the creation and review of IEPs and 504 plans
- Promote positive mental health and a supportive school climate
