Support high school students’ growth and success as a dedicated, in-person school psychologist on a full-time contract through the 2026-2027 school year. As a valued member of a school-based team, you will:
Desired Qualifications:
- Hold an active Delaware school psychologist license (please include a copy with your application)
- Bring previous school-based experience, ideally at the high school level
- Demonstrate expertise in psychoeducational assessment, evaluation, and report writing
- Have a strong background in IEP team participation and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills
- Be fully available for on-site work, five days per week, with reliable transportation
- Capable of completing required fingerprinting in the first few days of employment
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychoeducational evaluations for high school students, interpreting results to inform supports and services
- Prepare thorough, timely reports in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, working alongside educators and families to develop student-centered plans
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to address students’ academic, social, and behavioral needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical and professional standards
This contract begins August 24, 2026 and runs through June 16, 2027, offering a full-time, in-person schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Interviews will be conducted virtually.
