This full-time opportunity is ideal for a compassionate and skilled School Psychologist who is committed to helping students achieve academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success. You'll work alongside educators, families, and multidisciplinary professionals to create positive outcomes and foster inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive.
What You'll Do
As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting student success by:
Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students with academic, behavioral, emotional, or developmental concerns.
Interpreting assessment results and presenting findings to parents, teachers, and school staff.
Collaborating with IEP teams to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
Consulting with teachers and administrators on evidence-based interventions, classroom strategies, and behavioral supports.
Participating in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) initiatives.
Providing short-term individual or group counseling and behavioral intervention services.
Assisting with crisis prevention, intervention, and response efforts.
Maintaining accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and state and federal regulations.
Partnering with families and school staff to promote student growth, well-being, and long-term success.
Qualifications
We're looking for candidates who have:
Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
Connecticut School Psychologist certification/licensure (or eligibility to obtain certification).
Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting psychological data.
Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, special education procedures, and best practices.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
A passion for supporting diverse learners and creating positive educational outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in K–12 school settings.
Familiarity with digital IEP platforms, psychological assessment software, and behavioral data management systems.
Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary educational teams.

Compensation for this position ranges from $43.93 to $63.93. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
