Title: School Psychologist – Early Elementary School-Based Position

Near: Seymour / Naugatuck / Southbury

Job Type: Contract, Full-Time

Overview: Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team for a full-time leave assignment during the 2026/2027 school year. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to support an early elementary caseload in a collaborative school environment. Requirements:

Active Connecticut School Psychologist Certification (070) required
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong assessment, counseling, and collaboration skills
Ability to facilitate multidisciplinary meetings and support early learners
Onsite

Responsibilities:

Assess students with social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
Complete psychoeducational evaluations and classroom observations
Provide individual and group therapeutic counseling services
Facilitate PPT meetings and coordinate 504 meetings
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers

Interview Process:

(10-15) minute screening call with a Soliant Education Recruiter
(20-30) minute virtual interview directly with the school district
District is available to interview Friday, July 10, at any time
Offer is typically within 24 hours of the virtual interview.

Full-Time
35 hours per week
August 26, 2026 – January 1, 2027
Onsite Only
PreK–2nd Grade Caseload
