Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid New Jersey School Psychologist Certification (required)
- Experience working with elementary-age students, preferably in a school setting
- Comprehensive knowledge of conducting student evaluations and reporting
- Ability to attend and contribute to IEP meetings professionally and compassionately
- Adept at building positive relationships with educators, families, and students
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative psychological services to elementary students
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and strengths
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and develop individualized plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrative staff to deliver support
- Travel between school sites within the district as an itinerant service provider
