What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Current or eligible Nebraska Special Services Certificate
- Nebraska School Psychology Endorsement or eligibility for reciprocity
- Comprehensive knowledge of IDEA, special education eligibility, and IEP procedures
- Demonstrated skill in psychoeducational assessments and creating detailed evaluation reports
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete thorough psychoeducational evaluations to establish special education eligibility
- Participate as a valued member of the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT)
- Interpret assessment data and make actionable recommendations for IEP development
- Advise on behavioral and academic intervention plans
- Serve as a resource for teachers, families, and administrators by providing consultation on student needs
- Liaise with outside agencies, medical professionals, and parent organizations to prioritize student success
- Contribute to the design and implementation of crisis intervention strategies
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal education guidelines
- Pursue ongoing professional development and participate in assigned district initiatives
This assignment follows the district calendar, starting August 18, 2026, through June 4, 2027, providing a fulfilling opportunity to make a difference throughout the academic year.
