Key Qualifications:
- Completion of a master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Active state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience with school-based psychological assessments, preferably at the middle school level
- Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and special education processes
- Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual psychological and educational evaluations for middle school students
- Interpret assessment data and present findings to staff and families
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support students' academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
- Provide consultative support to school staff regarding student concerns and accommodations
- Maintain thorough documentation to ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
