Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in school settings and familiarity with K-12 student populations
- Strong background in administering psychological assessments, interpreting results, and recommending interventions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and foster trusting relationships with students, parents, and staff
- Enthusiasm for working 100% in-person within a supportive, team-oriented school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments and evaluations to identify social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design effective support strategies
- Provide short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to positive school climate initiatives
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports in compliance with district and legal standards
