Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in a school setting (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, interventions, and IEP development
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable providing all services 100% in-person
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and psychoeducational evaluations of students
- Interpret assessment results and provide actionable recommendations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating on IEPs and student plans
- Deliver consultative services to teachers and staff to support student learning and emotional health
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Document all activities in a timely, compliant manner
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to district, state, and federal special education regulations
Position Details:
- Temporary contract role: Immediate start through early January 2027
- Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
- Fully onsite, allowing for direct, meaningful interactions with students and school staff
