Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification and license as a School Psychologist
- Experience in school-based psychological assessment, counseling, and consultation
- Knowledge of best practices in IEP development and implementation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation effectively
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student emotional and behavioral needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert input on psychological evaluations and student needs
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and family members to develop strategies promoting academic, social, and behavioral growth
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed within the school community
