School Psychologist in Northwood, OH

What you’ll bring:
- Valid School Psychologist licensure in Ohio, or in the process of obtaining licensure this summer
- Experience conducting comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for a variety of age groups
- Strong knowledge of intervention strategies, Response to Intervention (RTI), and special education eligibility criteria
- Excellent consultation skills for working with teachers, administrators, and caregivers
- Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality
- Effective communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver psycho-educational assessments for students K-12 across the district
- Analyze evaluation results, prepare reports, and provide clear recommendations for intervention planning
- Consult with educators and families to support students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional development
- Participate in IEP and multi-disciplinary meetings as a valued member of the educational team
- Offer evidence-based strategies and interventions to address learning and behavioral challenges
- Maintain up-to-date records in compliance with state and federal regulations
