Key Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, interpret assessment findings, and share insights with multidisciplinary teams.
- Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Collaborate with colleagues during IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans.
- Provide ongoing guidance and consultation to educators regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports.
- Design and help implement evidence-based interventions across general and special education environments.
- Partner in crisis intervention processes to promote a safe and supportive atmosphere.
- Collect and analyze student data to track progress and inform recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology.
- Valid New York State School Psychologist Certification.
- Previous experience working in K–12 school environments is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in psychological assessment, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
