In this role, you’ll focus on conducting assessments to identify student needs and providing recommendations to support educational planning. Assignments may involve travel between campus sites in the area, allowing you to collaborate with diverse school teams while making a meaningful impact on students’ educational journeys.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license (Kansas eligibility required)
- Experience working with K-12 students with significant or multiple disabilities
- Familiarity with assessments for non-verbal, physically impaired, or AT-dependent students
- Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to travel between different school sites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual psychoeducational assessments for students with a range of intensive needs
- Collaborate with special education teams and contribute expertise during multidisciplinary team meetings
- Interpret data, write comprehensive reports, and communicate findings to staff and families
- Support case management and consult on intervention strategies for complex caseloads
- Travel between school sites to provide support where needed (details to be discussed during interviews)
This assignment begins August 12, 2026, and continues through May 21, 2027, aligning with the school year. Detailed caseload information will be shared during the interview process.
