Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid school psychologist certification or eligibility for certification in Virginia
- Experience in educational settings, particularly in student evaluations and eligibility determination
- Strong skills in report writing, assessment, and data interpretation
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability across multiple school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations and re-evaluations to determine special education eligibility
- Prepare detailed, compliant psychological reports
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs and services
- Work closely with three fellow school psychologists to ensure cohesive coverage across all sites
