As a valued team member, your primary duties will focus on conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, determining eligibility for special education services, creating detailed assessment reports, and collaborating with educators and families. Your professional insight will play a pivotal role in helping students reach their full potential.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid School Psychologist credential or ability to obtain appropriate certification
- Strong understanding of psychoeducational evaluation tools and procedures
- Knowledge of special education eligibility criteria and processes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, though not required
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations and assessments as needed
- Determine eligibility for special education services, following federal and state guidelines
- Prepare clear, comprehensive, and timely evaluation reports
- Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and administrative staff
- Participate in eligibility and intervention meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
