Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (from an accredited program)
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Demonstrated experience in conducting psychological assessments, eligibility evaluations, and report writing
- Strong understanding of best practices in assessment, including cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral domains
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, administrators, and families
- Ability to manage a flexible, school-based schedule and work independently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students referred for special education services
- Interpret and communicate evaluation results for eligibility meetings and IEP development
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and behavior
- Maintain accurate records and up-to-date, compliant documentation
- Provide consultative support to teachers and staff regarding interventions and assessments
- Participate in relevant meetings as assigned to provide expertise in assessment and evaluation
