Step into a pivotal role supporting student success as a full-time School Psychologist within a dynamic educational community near Philadelphia, PA. Two immediate contract openings are available to serve middle school-aged students, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact during the academic year.
Details of the positions:
- First opening focuses on grades 6-8, Monday through Friday, with work hours from 8:15 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Second opening covers a middle school caseload, including occasional out-of-district evaluations and overflow support, with hours from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Both roles total 35 hours weekly, with in-person attendance required for the entire school schedule through June 10, 2027.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania School Psychologist certification or licensure.
- Demonstrated school-based experience, ideally in urban settings.
- Proficiency in comprehensive evaluations and assessments.
- Familiarity and comfort working in a diverse, urban district.
- Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania background clearances prior to the start date.
- Reliable transportation and readiness to commit to the fixed work schedule—no exceptions for flexible or remote arrangements.
- Confident navigating district protocols and expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments.
- Provide intervention recommendations and collaborate with educators and families.
- Address a broad range of student needs to foster academic and emotional growth.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and contribute to team evaluations and meetings.
Working onsite five days per week ensures you’ll be fully engaged with students, staff, and families, helping to promote positive outcomes and create meaningful change where it’s needed most. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom for efficiency and convenience.
