This is a full-time, onsite contract opportunity perfect for experienced School Psychologists who are passionate about assessments, evaluations, and supporting middle school students' growth and well-being. There are two open positions, each offering the chance to work closely with dedicated staff and families.
Requirements:
- Valid and active School Psychologist certification/licensure in Pennsylvania
- Prior experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting
- Ability to complete all required PA clearances
- Comfortable and effective working in an urban district
- Reliable transportation to maintain punctual onsite presence; accommodations to the schedule cannot be made
- Availability for a full 35-hour workweek, Monday through Friday
- Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview during the hiring process
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological evaluations and assessments for middle school students in grades 6-8 (Toby Farms) or manage OOD evaluations and overflow (ESA Middle School)
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student learning and behavior plans
- Offer counseling and intervention strategies to help students overcome academic, social, and emotional challenges
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Deliver services onsite, five full days per week
- Adhere to established work hours based on the specific school assignment
