Key Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment, intervention, and counseling techniques
- Experience with IEP development and participation in eligibility meetings
- Ability to work with teachers, administrators, and families to implement effective strategies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in schools preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional support
- Interpret test results and develop recommendations to guide individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver counseling services to students individually or in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, intervention specialists, and families to promote student success
- Support crisis intervention, positive behavioral interventions, and consultation
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
