Qualifications:
- Active Virginia Department of Education (VA DOE) licensure required
- Current license as a School Psychologist in the state of Virginia
- Prior experience as a School Psychologist within a K-12 environment preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments across various age groups as assigned
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to identify student needs and create tailored support plans
- Deliver consultation and therapeutic services to students, providing crisis intervention when needed
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and student support teams
- Serve as a resource for staff development and parent education on mental health topics
This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position (35 hours per week) for the 2026-2027 school year, allowing you to build connections and see your impact evolve over time. The assignment offers the potential for schedule flexibility while remaining onsite.
