Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and current Texas School Psychologist license/credential
- School-based experience is required; experience providing services in educational settings strongly preferred
- Must be available for on-site work at Houston-area schools, with some flexibility for hybrid report writing from home
- Commitment to full-time hours (37.5 per week)
- Possess reliable transportation to travel between campuses as needed
- Ability and willingness to complete HISD fingerprinting within the initial three days of employment
- Prior experience working with Houston-area schools is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve approximately five campuses in either South or West Houston, providing comprehensive psychological services to students
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
- Support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
- Engage with parents, teachers, and staff to ensure students’ academic and emotional needs are met
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to compliance with state and district guidelines
