Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid certification and credentials as a School Psychologist
- Prior experience working with preschool or early childhood populations strongly preferred
- Familiarity with assessment tools, intervention strategies, and documentation requirements in school settings
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and families, tailoring approaches for young learners
- Commitment to ethical practices, confidentiality, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and risk assessments
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions for preschool students
- Provide consultation and collaboration with educators and support staff
- Offer guidance, support, and resources to families to address developmental and behavioral needs
- Facilitate or participate in IEP meetings, contributing insight and advocating for student-centered plans
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation consistent with school and regulatory standards
