The position is available immediately, continuing through the end of the school year, with a consistent weekly schedule of 30 hours across five days. The site is easily accessible from the Spokane, WA area. As a valued School Psychologist, you'll assess student needs, provide counseling, aid in the development and implementation of IEPs, and contribute to positive educational and behavioral outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Active, valid School Psychologist State License
- Strong experience supporting students across K-12th grades
- Excellent communication and consultative abilities with staff and families
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
- Familiarity with psychological assessments, MTSS, and special education processes
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students in grades K-12
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, families, and multidisciplinary teams on student support plans
- Assist with intervention strategies, behavioral plans, and crisis response as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and help design appropriate accommodations and modifications
- Promote student engagement and emotional wellness through evidence-based practices
