Position Title: School Psychologist
Location: Illinois (Fully Remote)
Employment Type: Full-Time Contractor
Schedule: 37.5–40 Hours per week
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to provide virtual psychological services to K–12 students throughout Illinois. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting students' academic achievement, social-emotional well-being, and behavioral success while working within a collaborative telepractice environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience conducting evaluations, interpreting assessment data, participating in special education processes, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct virtual psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students
Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers
Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
Support special education eligibility determinations and compliance requirements
Develop recommendations and intervention strategies to promote student success
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal regulations
Utilize telepractice platforms and technology to effectively deliver remote services
Qualifications
Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement, or eligibility to obtain Illinois credentials
Previous school-based experience preferred
Virtual or telepractice experience preferred
Strong knowledge of special education regulations, psychoeducational assessments, and IEP processes
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with educational teams
Reliable internet connection and professional home office environment required
