Online School Psychologist in RI
A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist providing telehealth services within a school setting. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive psychological assessments and support to students remotely, promoting their academic, emotional, and social development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting telehealth psychological evaluations and assessments.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop intervention strategies.
- Monitoring student progress and providing recommendations to support learning and well-being.
- Participating in student support team meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with relevant guidelines.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Licensure or certification in school psychology as required by the state.
- Proven experience performing psychological evaluations in an educational setting.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivering virtual services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage caseload independently while maintaining high professional standards.
Location: Providence, Rhode Island (Telehealth service delivery).
