A fully remote opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to provide telehealth services. This role involves delivering psychological assessments and support to students through virtual platforms, enhancing access to care while maintaining professional standards in a remote setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations using a variety of assessment tools on a virtual platform.
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to interpret assessment results and develop intervention strategies.
- Provide telehealth counseling sessions and support to students to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Document assessments and interventions accurately and timely in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines.
- Utilize interactive learning materials to enhance student engagement during sessions.
- Coordinate with clinical and technical support teams to ensure the effective use of telehealth technology and resources.
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and delivering services in a telehealth or virtual environment.
- Proficiency with virtual platforms and online communication tools, including Zoom or similar software.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration with students, families, and school staff remotely.
- Ability to adapt assessment techniques and interventions for telehealth delivery.
Location: Remote position serving a school district in Waukegan, Illinois.
