Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification in Arizona
- Previous experience with K-8th grade students preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Passion for supporting the academic and emotional growth of students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret assessment data to inform eligibility and interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other support plans
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed
- Collaborate with staff to design strategies promoting mental health, inclusion, and positive behavior
- Serve as a resource for students, families, and faculty concerning social, behavioral, and academic concerns
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
