Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active South Carolina School Psychology License (required)
- Experience providing psychological evaluations and counseling for K-12 students
- Strong knowledge of special education procedures and best practices
- Ability to travel between school locations as needed
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and develop recommendations to support student success
- Interpret test results and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide direct counseling services to individual students and groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement IEPs
- Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential documentation of services rendered
- Participate in crisis intervention and assist in creating a positive school climate
- Stay up to date on state and federal regulations affecting school psychological services
This opportunity offers a full-time Monday-Friday schedule, working 37.5 hours each week from late July through late May. Your impact will extend across multiple campuses, providing you with an enriching, varied experience in a supportive environment.
