School Psychologist - Warren, MI

Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough student assessments, collaborating with educators and families to develop targeted intervention strategies, and actively promoting mental health awareness throughout the school community. In addition to evaluation tasks, you'll have the chance to expand your impact by engaging in diverse duties within assigned buildings, helping foster a supportive and inclusive climate for learning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Michigan School Psychologist Certification, or willingness to obtain Michigan licensure promptly upon offer (travelers are encouraged to apply)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
- Proficiency in assessment and intervention techniques
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services to students across 1–2 buildings in the district
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify student needs and deliver effective interventions
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives that support social, emotional, and behavioral development
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide input for individualized educational plans
Caseload and Schedule: You'll join a supportive team, sharing responsibilities across five buildings with two other psychologists (elementary and middle/high school assignments). The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week), and requires onsite presence.
