Step into a meaningful contract position supporting students as a School Psychologist for the full 2026-2027 school year, beginning this August. Key Qualifications:
- Valid license or eligibility to practice as a School Psychologist in Illinois
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation
- Ability to interpret data to inform educational planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Collaborative spirit and adaptability to diverse student needs
- Understanding of IEP process, RTI/MTSS frameworks, and knowledge of special education law
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Deliver counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Promote social-emotional learning and mental health awareness
- Assist in implementing school-wide programs that support student well-being
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines
