Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological evaluations and writing reports
- Strong grasp of IEP development and documentation
- Skilled at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer cognitive, behavioral, and educational assessments for students
- Interpret evaluation data and communicate results to staff and families
- Contribute to the creation, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs
- Provide counseling and direct support to students, individually or in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to facilitate student accommodations and interventions
- Assist in crisis response and proactive prevention strategies within the school
- Stay current with best practices and therapeutic approaches
