School Psychologist - Zion, IL

As an in-person role, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to foster student success and well-being.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in educational psychology or closely related field
- Completion of at least one year of internship under supervision of a credentialed school psychologist
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement for School Psychologist
- Experience or readiness to work with diverse elementary and secondary student populations
- Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, consultation, and prevention strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students district-wide
- Consult with teachers and staff regarding student behavioral, academic, and social-emotional needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) and interventions
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and recommendations for at-risk students
- Support compliance with state and federal regulations (IDEA, Section 504)
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with functional behavioral assessments and positive behavior supports
- Offer training and support to school personnel and families on best practices relating to student mental health and learning needs
