Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience or interest in working with elementary-aged students
- Strong assessment, communication, and consultation skills
- Ability to complete initials and re-evaluations in compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with other school psychologists
- Commitment to creating inclusive, supportive environments for students of diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for initial and re-evaluations
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student needs and appropriate intervention strategies
- Prepare thorough evaluation reports and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
- Monitor student progress and provide recommendations for educational planning
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that prioritizes student well-being and achievement
