This full-time, contract opportunity begins in August and will see you working closely with a team of dedicated school psychologists to ensure each student receives the support they need to thrive. You’ll focus primarily on conducting initial evaluations, with some re-evaluations, collaborating with other professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience with elementary school populations strongly preferred
- Solid grasp of assessment tools and processes for initial and re-evaluations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for elementary-aged students, including initial evaluations and re-evaluations
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes
- Collaborate closely with other school psychologists and education professionals to develop intervention and support strategies
- Maintain detailed records and prepare accurate, timely evaluation reports
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding student mental health, behavioral interventions, and support services
