Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid credential as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in school-based psychology (elementary focus preferred)
- Strong understanding of the evaluation process, including conducting initial assessments and some re-evaluations
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and colleagues
- Ability to maintain accurate, organized records and reports
Position Highlights and Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments with a primary focus on initial evaluations, along with some re-evaluations throughout the school year
- Work closely with other School Psychologists, teachers, and support staff to develop strategies for student success
- Deliver consultative services and interventions as needed for students requiring additional support
- Participate in meetings and multidisciplinary teams to help create individualized education plans and support academic achievement
- Offer guidance to families and assist in crisis response or intervention when necessary
