Qualifications:
- Current and valid School Psychologist license in Oregon
- Certification for work in elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
- Ability to work effectively across K-12 caseloads, adapting approaches for various age groups and learning needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work with students, teachers, and families
- Commitment to ethical and evidence-based practices in a school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological, behavioral, and academic assessments for students across grade levels
- Interpret evaluation results and provide actionable recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Collaborate with school staff, caregivers, and other professionals to develop strategies that enhance student learning and social-emotional growth
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school community
- Participate in eligibility and problem-solving meetings, contributing your expertise to multidisciplinary teams
