Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Current, valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Previous experience in a school district or educational environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, behavioral intervention strategies, and special education processes
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting students of diverse backgrounds and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psycho-educational assessments and interpret results to develop actionable recommendations
- Provide consultation and support to teachers, administrators, and families regarding learning, behavior, and mental health concerns
- Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Deliver direct and indirect counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Collaborate with educational staff and parents to design effective intervention plans
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
