Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Certification appropriate for high school settings
- Recent experience working with adolescents or high school students preferred
- Strong understanding of MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports)
- Proficiency with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Support Plan (BSP) development and facilitation
- Background in Special Education eligibility assessments
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and participate in MTSS implementation, helping build positive supports for students at multiple tiers
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments, facilitate the development and monitoring of Behavior Support Plans
- Complete Special Education eligibility assessments and participate in IEP team meetings as required
- Deliver some direct services to students, ensuring their social, emotional, and educational needs are met
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop data-driven interventions that foster student success
- Maintain clear documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
