Essential Qualifications:
- Current School Psychologist certification
- Experience working with school-aged children in diverse settings
- Strong background in behavioral interventions, assessment, and counseling
- Proficiency in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and early intervention strategies
- Adept at leading or supporting MTSS frameworks
- Skilled communicator with the ability to consult and collaborate with educators, families, and allied professionals
- Capacity to handle crisis situations and participate in safety and transition planning
- Commitment to creating equity and opportunity for students facing significant barriers
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and small-group counseling to students
- Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations to guide interventions
- Complete FBAs and assist in developing/monitoring BIPs
- Partner with teachers, families, and other specialists to enhance student outcomes
- Participate in IEP and Section 504 meetings as a psychological services expert
- Support school-wide MTSS efforts and help implement trauma-informed practices
- Respond to crises and help develop effective reintegration and safety plans
