Desired Background and Experience:
- Active state-issued School Psychologist credential
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
- Experience delivering evidence-based counseling and trauma-informed care
- Proficiency with Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) principles
- Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and administrators
- Previous experience with students exhibiting significant behavioral or social-emotional needs preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students
- Complete psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments and propose Behavior Intervention Plans
- Support implementation of MTSS initiatives
- Consult with staff and families to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP and Section 504 meetings
- Assist with crisis interventions and safety planning
- Develop and monitor transition plans for student reintegration
