Responsibilities:
- Work on-site primarily with Pre-K students in a specialized preschool setting, focusing on behavioral intervention and school readiness skills.
- Provide First Step Transition behavioral intervention services, including behavioral coaching, teacher consultation, progress monitoring, and active collaboration with families.
- Assist with early intervention, supporting young students as they adapt to classroom routines and social-emotional expectations.
- Deliver behavioral and transition support, positively impacting approximately 70 students.
- Participate in comprehensive preschool evaluations alongside a team comprised of psychology, OT, PT, SLP, autism specialists, teachers of record, and nursing staff.
- Regularly consult and coordinate with school personnel, caregivers, and multidisciplinary professionals.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential, with experience in early childhood preferred.
- Background in providing behavioral interventions and transition support for young children.
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate within a team-based, multidisciplinary framework.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering growth, inclusion, and school readiness in Pre-K settings.
