Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology with valid state certification/licensure
- Demonstrated experience or interest in working with Pre-K children and early intervention
- Knowledge of best practices in behavioral intervention, progress monitoring, and family collaboration
- Strong skills in conducting preschool evaluations, data collection, and teamwork with professionals such as OT, PT, SLP, and Autism Consultants
- Ability to provide comprehensive support to children, staff, and families without remote/VOCO options
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver First Step Transition behavioral intervention and support for Pre-K students and their caregivers
- Implement evidence-based programs to enhance school readiness, social-emotional development, and positive classroom behaviors
- Consult with teachers and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff during two-day assessment visits
- Monitor student progress, coach educators in behavioral strategies, and ensure smooth Pre-K–to–school transitions
- Manage a typical caseload of approximately 70 students, focusing on individual needs and development plans
