Qualifications/Experience Desired:
- Current and active Vermont School Psychologist license
- Demonstrated experience working as a School Psychologist in K-12 settings
- Proficient in identifying learning disabilities and familiarity with evidence-based evaluation tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple sites within walking distance
- Comfortable completing 50-60 evaluations annually, including proper documentation and follow-up
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students across elementary, middle, and high school grades
- Interpret assessment data and communicate actionable recommendations to educators and families
- Participate in team meetings, including IEP and eligibility determinations, providing insights on students’ developmental and academic needs
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation on all evaluations and interventions
- Support implementation of school-wide strategies to foster student success and well-being
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on learning disabilities, guiding colleagues and offering consultative input
